DRAI hydro repellence is superior to any other organic or inorganic compound, with unimaginable values of oil-repellency.The high-water repellency prevents water from coming into contact with calcium carbonate – the major component of building materials -avoiding deterioration by carbonization. The impossibility for water to penetrate into building materials avoid structure cracking and the formation of algae and molds. Even pollutants -chemicals or dirt- can’t settle on the surface avoiding it gets dirty and deteriorate.
DRAI is ready to use and can be easily applied to clean, dry surfaces. It is your perfect ally for keeping floors, tables, worktops and coverings always clean and protected. Suitable for marble, granite, terracotta, concrete and stone surfaces.

STORAGE
Keep the container well closed and stored in a cool (temperature below 25°C) and ventilated environment for a maximum period of 12 months from the date of production marked on the tin. Avoid direct sun exposure.
SAFETY RULES
Ensure work area is well-ventilated during application and until surface is dry. It is recommended to use personal protective equipment during application. Read the safety sheet before application.
APPLICATION
We recommend cleaning the surfaces before application, removing soluble salts, mold or loose parts. Apply on dry, cold surfaces not exposed to hot sun; low pressure airless paint sprayers, brush or roller can be used, ensuring even application until the material is completely soaked. Conduct preliminary tests on a small area to determine the optimal amount. Coverage rate varies with material permeability, with consumption tentatively between 100 and 400 g/m².
During application, foams may form under mechanical action (e.g., brush/roller), but this disappears during drying and indicates better stone penetration, not affecting the final result.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Drai is an acrylic copolymer modified with fluorinated groups: acrylic components facilitate adhesion to stone surfaces, while fluorinated groups (positioned externally) ensure hydro-oil repellency.
Drai penetrates deeply into capillary pores (up to 4-5 mm in tests) and works well on various surfaces: concrete, earthenware mortars, tuff, carparo, marbles (Carrara, flowered bardiglio, Verona red, yellow Siena), granite, travertine, paints, lime-based coatings, marmorino, etc.
Drai is invisible when dry, keeping the material’s natural appearance unchanged. However, preliminary tests on a small area are necessary to confirm the final color.
Drai is vapour-permeable, with no change to the permeability of treated surfaces.
Drai is chemically stable and UV-resistant.
Drai dries rapidly and can be applied on slightly damp surfaces.
NOTE
Keep the product well sealed in a cool, ventilated environment. Avoid heat sources. During application, avoid open flames (due to solvent flammability). Protect vegetation and non-treated surfaces with plastic sheets.
