    APPLICATION
    • SOLID SOLVENT-BASE and NATURAL SOLVENT
Apply it by hand or machine on a perfectly clean surface, taking care to distribute the wax evenly to favour absorption. When dry, polish with a clean cloth (or fine steel wool).
    • LIQUID SOLVENT-BASE
Similar to solid solvent-base, suits materials needing better finish. Apply with a cloth, remove excess with fine steel wool, polish vigorously (machine recommended). Spreading rate: ~1L per 10/15 sqm (medium-absorbing materials).
    • LIQUID WATER-BASE
Professional/domestic floor wax with selected waxes. Clean floor with water/alcohol, dilute wax (1 glass in 8L water), spread with damp cloth, dry. Higher wax proportions increase gloss (use polisher, avoid slipperiness). Repeat to enhance gloss.

ILPA EXTRA WAX Fit Checks for Natural Stone Wax

ILPA EXTRA WAX is a natural stone floor wax for buyers comparing floor wax uses, floor wax polish, polish and wax decisions, and protective film performance on marble and granite. It fits stone maintenance work where the surface needs a wax layer that supports shine, easier routine care, and a floor-friendly finish without treating the job as a hard stone protection coating.

Buyer checkWhy it mattersWhat to confirm
Floor wax usesSearches for floor wax uses can mean shine improvement, routine maintenance, protective film, or a practical finish after stone cleaning.Confirm whether the goal is marble shine, granite maintenance, a transparent wax layer, or easier daily cleaning after polishing.
Wax types and surface fitNatural stone floor wax should match the stone, traffic level, and desired appearance instead of being chosen only by gloss level.Check marble, granite, terrazzo, compact stone, or artificial stone type, then test a small area before full application.
Floor wax polish decisionsBuyers often ask whether floor polish and floor wax are the same because both can improve appearance but do different jobs.Use wax when a protective film and maintenance layer are needed; use polishing or restoration products when the surface itself needs correction first.
Protective film and maintenanceA wax layer has to improve practical care without creating residue, slippery feel, or uneven shine on visible stone floors.Confirm cleaning routine, dry time, buffing method, foot traffic, and how the floor will be refreshed between maintenance cycles.

Choose ILPA EXTRA WAX when the project needs natural stone floor wax, floor wax polish behavior, wax types for marble and granite, and a protective film for routine stone maintenance. For silicone polish wax on lithoid surfaces, compare ILPA BRILLO instead; for shine recovery on worn marble, compare a gloss restorer before using wax as the maintenance layer.

Related planning paths: compare ILPA BRILLO for silicone polish wax, review MR Marble Gloss Restorer for gloss restorer work, browse the stone polish archive for wax and polish options, and use marble floor maintenance planning when matching wax, polish, and restoration steps.
